What is Intellicode®

Intellicode rolling code technology provides state-of-the-art security for your home by automatically changing your access code every time you push the remote control button. This prevents an unauthorized person from capturing the access code to your opener system and gaining entry to your garage.

How does it work?

Conventional garage door openers are coded to send out the same fixed code time after time. A rolling code system uses a proprietary coding system that selects a new code from 4.3 billion possible combinations each time the system is activated.

This system is easy to program and has been incorporated into Genie openers produced since 1995.
